Overview

Understanding CalAIM / Medi-Cal / Medicaid

CalAIM (California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal) is a statewide initiative that transforms how Medi-Cal delivers care. Through CalAIM Community Supports, eligible Medi-Cal members may be able to receive services that go beyond traditional medical care, including in-home personal care assistance, homemaker support, and caregiver respite.

These services are designed to help members stay safely at home rather than moving to a facility. Healthy at Home helps families understand whether CalAIM Community Supports may apply to their situation and guides them through the referral and authorization process.
